What is Character?

Every attribute like your personality, physical appearance, communication skills, habits, social life, etc. is taken into consideration while defining the character.

Some characteristics included in character are:

  • Trustworthiness and Honesty: To be known as a good character person, you should do what you say, be honest with yourself and others and try to be loyal to your friends and family.

  • Respect: Respect the feelings of your peers and your elders. Do not disobey the rules and never try to hurt anyone. You should also control your anger.

  • Responsibility: Understand your goals and responsibilities towards your family and society. Always think before taking any action.

  • Patience: Be patient in listening to others. Do not overreact in difficult situations.
Besides a wide range of opportunities ranging from academics to sports and extra activities, students develop important skills that benefit them in their academic and social life. They learn to:

  • Be independent and self-dependent as they face the everyday challenges of living on their own.

  • Make decisions; opt for appropriate choices, and to take responsibility for their actions.

  • Become social and make new friends by identifying the common interests and feelings   and learn to respect others.

  • Live away from home and to adapt themselves to the new environment with other students of different backgrounds.

  • Develop self-confidence, self-esteem, and understand their responsibility towards the society and family.
