Tranquility Bay offers best education with numerous opportunities to the students. They (students) get a chance to utilize their full potential and work for their improvement in academics. We help them in attaining their goals at their own pace. The Tranquility Bay education programs offer its students to work independently and earn credits towards High School Graduation.
Tranquility Bay Academic Program
When a student enters the academy, he/she is given an education plan which completely describes the courses. Based upon transcripts received from previous institution, student gets enrolled in a relevant course. Teachers assist students to achieve academic excellence by gaining credits as on student’s plan. Students are taught to take responsibility on their own and get opportunities to improve various skills like study skills, comprehension skills and leadership skills.
Teacher’s assistance is of great help in building the future of a student. Our highly-dedicated and well-educated staff employs a variety of methods to solve individual problems and recognize their hidden talents. Character development courses in academy help students to build self-esteem and forget their past experiences which made them feel guilty. We encourage our students to start a new life with positive attitude.
To pass a course, students have to attain a minimum of 80%. In case students are unable to clear the exam, they are given the opportunity for retest, so that he/she can become proficient in a particular subject.
Accreditation
Tranquility Bay is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools, Universities and Colleges and is also a registered independent school with Jamaica's Ministry of Education, Youth and Culture.
